Field Support Technician

We are looking for a Field Support Technician to provide hands-on IT support across multiple operational sites throughout the Kansas City Metro area.
This is not a desk-only help desk role. A large portion of the position involves driving between locations and supporting users directly in the field. Candidates should be comfortable with frequent travel, independent work, and supporting a wide variety of end-user technologies.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-person IT support across multiple field locations
  • Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Office 365, printer, VPN, hardware, and network connectivity issues
  • Set up, deploy, relocate, and upgrade workstation equipment
  • Support smartphones, tablets, AV systems, and other end-user technology
  • Manage tickets, document resolutions, and track hardware inventory
  • Assist with user account setup, password resets, and basic Active Directory support
  • Travel extensively between operational facilities across the region
Requirements:
  • 1–5 years of desktop support, IT support, field support, or help desk experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with Windows, Office 365, Active Directory, VPNs, and hardware troubleshooting
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based environment
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to lift/move computer equipment when needed
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SCCM, Citrix, VDI, or hardware maintenance
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications
Great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on IT support, working directly with users, and spending time in the field rather than sitting behind a desk all day.

Estimated Min Rate: $20.67
Estimated Max Rate: $26.00
