Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
Pay Rate:$30.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on experience
Location: Maryland Heights, Missouri
Work Arrangement: Fully onsite
This position supports preventive maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and associated support equipment within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on industrial or facilities maintenance experience with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, along with HVAC experience or familiarity.
Job Functions
- Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks, equipment inspections, and corrective work orders on schedule.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and associated support equipment.
- Respond to equipment and facility-related breakdowns and complete repairs in a manner that minimizes downtime.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC-related systems in an industrial environment.
- Work from electrical schematics, engineering drawings, equipment manuals, and written or verbal instructions.
- Troubleshoot motors, electrical controls, VFDs, sensors, wiring, PLC/HMI-controlled equipment, and other electrical or electromechanical components.
- Perform equipment functionality checks, adjustments, repairs, and component replacements as needed.
- Support pumps, vacuum systems, plumbing, and other facility or manufacturing support systems.
- Use voltmeters, multimeters, and other general-purpose test equipment to diagnose equipment failures.
- Document preventive and corrective maintenance activities and ensure equipment is returned to a safe, operational condition following repairs.
- Associate degree in Electrical Automation, Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, Electrical Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent qualifying technical training.
- Three or more years of relevant industrial, manufacturing, or facilities maintenance experience.
- Hands-on HVAC experience or familiarity within an industrial, manufacturing, or facilities environment.
- Experience troubleshooting AC/DC electrical systems, motors, electrical controls, sensors, and industrial equipment.
- Experience with mechanical troubleshooting and repair using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Experience with pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems.
- Experience reading electrical schematics, technical drawings, or equipment documentation.
- Experience using voltmeters, multimeters, or other electrical test equipment.
- Ability to work fully onsite during the scheduled hours.
- EPA 608, HVAC, refrigeration, or related technical certification.
- Experience with PLC/HMI-controlled or automated manufacturing equipment.
- Experience with 3-phase or high-voltage industrial electrical systems.
- Experience with vacuum systems, plumbing, utility systems, or Building Management Systems.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, food and beverage, medical device, chemical, or another regulated manufacturing environment.
- Licensed electrician credentials or equivalent high-voltage electrical experience.
