Join Our Team as an Electronics Technician and Play a Vital Role in Keeping Avionic Systems Flying High!

Are you passionate about intricate electronics and precise troubleshooting? We're seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to perform detailed testing, diagnosing, and repairing sophisticated avionics and electronic instrumentation. In this on-site role based in Chatsworth, CA, you'll work with cutting-edge equipment, ensuring our high standards of quality and reliability are met to support the aviation industry worldwide. Your expertise will directly impact the safety and performance of aircraft systems, making this an exciting opportunity for a meticulous professional dedicated to excellence.

Required Skills:

  • Deep understanding of advanced analog and digital electronics, system theory, and operational functions of complex electronic devices
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting printed circuit boards down to the component level
  • Experience with desoldering and soldering printed circuit board components, including surface mount and through-hole techniques
  • Ability to use bench-top electronic test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and digital multimeters (DMM)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret assembly drawings, schematics, procedures, and technical manuals
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Computer proficiency with basic applications
Nice to Have Skills:

  • PCB soldering proficiency (training provided if needed)
  • Prior experience maintaining and repairing avionic equipment such as autopilots, radios, radar, and transponders (minimum two years preferred)
Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of a two-year electronics degree or equivalent education, training, and work experience
  • Two or more years of hands-on experience with avionic maintenance and repairs
Other Requirements:

  • On-site in Chatsworth, CA
  • Capable of performing repetitive tasks and handling small objects with fine eye-hand coordination
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working with small tools and electronic components
  • Valid high school diploma or GED
  • Basic computer skills
