Job Functions
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Talent Acquisition strategy aligned with short- and long-term organizational and workforce objectives.
- Partner with executive leadership and senior HR leaders to forecast workforce needs, establish hiring priorities, and proactively develop talent pipelines.
- Establish recruiting goals, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to measure performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and support employer branding initiatives designed to strengthen the organization's position within the life sciences talent market.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Talent Acquisition professionals while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Establish performance expectations, provide ongoing coaching, and support professional development of recruiting team members.
- Manage recruiting workload, capacity planning, and prioritization across business units and hiring initiatives.
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting activities across all organizational levels, including executive, technical, scientific, and specialized positions.
- Ensure a consistent, positive, and equitable candidate experience throughout the recruiting and selection process.
- Develop and maintain job description standards, structured interview frameworks, and candidate selection criteria in partnership with HR leadership and hiring managers.
- Ensure recruiting practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain compliance with publicly traded company requirements, including SOX-related controls, EEOC/OFCCP requirements, CCPA/CPRA, and internal audit standards.
- Oversee recruiting documentation, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements to support regulatory audits and organizational transparency.
- Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to remain current on evolving employment and labor law requirements.
- Serve as the internal Talent Acquisition lead for Paycom HRIS, supporting data integrity, process consistency, reporting, and user adoption.
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize recruiting technologies, including applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, assessment tools, and analytics solutions.
- Leverage recruiting data and workforce metrics to identify trends and provide actionable insights to HR and business leadership.
- Manage relationships with external recruiting firms, staffing agencies, and sourcing vendors, including contract negotiations and performance management.
- Develop strong partnerships with hiring managers and business leaders to provide consultative and responsive talent solutions.
- Represent Talent Acquisition in cross-functional HR initiatives, organizational planning discussions, and leadership forums.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, including demonstrated ownership of end-to-end recruiting programs.
- Minimum of four (4) years of supervisory or people management experience leading Talent Acquisition teams or functions.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic recruiting and workforce planning initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of publicly traded company compliance requirements, including SOX controls, EEOC/OFCCP regulations, and related governance frameworks.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Paycom HRIS, including Talent Acquisition, onboarding, and reporting modules.
- Experience with Talent Acquisition technologies such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, HireVue, or comparable platforms.
- Experience developing and utilizing recruiting KPIs, analytics, and reporting to support strategic business decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate recruiting data into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and build effective relationships with executives, hiring managers, HR partners, and other stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results within a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization.
- MBA, MA/MS in Human Resources, or another relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Talent Acquisition experience within the life sciences industry, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, diagnostics, or clinical research organizations preferred.
- Familiarity with FDA, GxP, or other regulated environments that impact workforce and hiring practices.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent HR certification preferred.
- Experience supporting a publicly traded organization through an IPO, merger or acquisition, or significant headcount scaling initiative preferred.
Estimated Min Rate: $190,000.00
Estimated Max Rate: $195,000.00
