We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Db2DBA to join our TSG Mainframe Services team. This role is located in.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and manage DB2 databases on mainframe (z/OS)
- Work in a DDF-heavy environment(distributed transactions via Java/JDBC/API connections)
- Handle database structure, architecture, and performance tuning
- Support application-facing DB2 (DB2 LU / distributed access)
- Participate in system upgrades, deployments, and infrastructure changes
- Collaborate across engineering and operations teams
- Be part of on-call rotation and production support
- Strong DB2 DBA experience on mainframe
- Experience with:
- DDF (Distributed Data Facility)
- DB2 architecture & database structures
- Application integration (Java, JDBC, APIs)
- Monitoring & performance tools:
- MainView
- Apptune
- Understanding of:
- Mainframe infrastructure
- Distributed systems interaction with DB2
