  • Data Engineer
    Your Impact
    As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions within a cloud-based Azure environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data architects, and engineering teams to ensure reliable data integration, optimized database performance, and efficient data processing pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure services, SQL Server administration and optimization, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
    Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Manage and optimize SQL Server environments, including performance tuning, query optimization, indexing strategies, and database maintenance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure high availability, reliability, and data integrity.
  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data transformations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Implement best practices for database monitoring, backup/recovery, security, and maintenance.
  • Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks across databases and data pipelines.
  • Support cloud migration and modernization efforts within the Azure ecosystem.
  • Document data processes, workflows, and technical solutions.
  • Skills & Experience
    Required
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Database Engineering, or a related role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services.
  • Extensive SQL Server experience, including:
    • SQL performance tuning and optimization
    • Query troubleshooting and execution plan analysis
    • Database maintenance and administration
    • Indexing and performance monitoring
  • Experience building, scheduling, and maintaining Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines and jobs.
  • Strong SQL development skills and experience working with large-scale datasets.
  • Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts and data integration best practices.
  • Experience troubleshooting production data issues and ensuring data quality.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  •  


Estimated Min Rate: $42.00
Estimated Max Rate: $60.00
