What You Will Do:
As a Data Engineer, you will lead the design and development of robust data pipelines, high TPS REST microservices, and real-time data streaming solutions. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver data-intensive applications, leveraging modern ETL tools, cloud platforms, and microservices frameworks. Your insights will drive platform evolution, ensuring stability, resiliency, and future readiness in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Required Skills:
- BS/BA Degree
- Minimum of 8 years of data engineering experience
- Hands-on expertise with PL/SQL and NoSQL databases
- Proven experience with ETL tools, including Informatica
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala
- Strong background in designing high TPS REST microservices with frameworks like Spring, Mybatis, Jersey
- Experience with data streaming tools such as Kafka and low-latency caching with Redis
- Cloud experience, especially with Azure, is a plus
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices, tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory
- Mainframe development skills and familiarity with COBOL are beneficial
- Agile methodology and CI/CD experience; AWS certification is a plus
- Exposure to AWS cloud services
- Experience with cloud-native data solutions and SRE principles
- Knowledge of CD processes and tools
- Working familiarity with JUnit, Karma, Groovy, Jest for testing automation
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in data platform development, data streaming, and large-scale data architectures
- Proven leadership in data engineering projects in global, enterprise environments
- Ability to work collaboratively within agile squads across multiple geographies
- Strong analytical, consulting mindset, and excellent communication skills
- Willingness to mentor and coach team members
