We are seeking a senior Data Engineer / Data Architect to design and build scalable data systems and pipelines supporting AI models, agents, and backend platforms. This role focuses on large-scale data infrastructure and warehouse architecture rather than analytics or reporting.
The ideal candidate has deep experience building enterprise-grade data pipelines and distributed data systems and is comfortable partnering closely with full stack and AI engineering teams.
Scope:
• Design and develop scalable data pipelines and warehouse solutions.
• Architect and maintain large-scale data systems supporting AI and backend platforms.
• Work across technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Oracle, Hadoop, and Hive.
• Partner with full stack and AI engineers to support data infrastructure needs.
• Optimize data flow, reliability, scalability, and system performance.
• Support data modeling, ingestion, transformation, and storage strategies.
Required:
• 10+ years of experience building large-scale data systems and pipelines.
• Strong experience with modern data warehouse and distributed data technologies.
• Experience architecting enterprise data infrastructure at scale.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Experience in backend or platform-focused data engineering environments.
Pluses:
• Experience supporting AI/ML platform infrastructure.
• Background in high-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern pipeline architectures.
Estimated Min Rate: $30.00
Estimated Max Rate: $35.00/hr +. Depends on work experience
