- $45.63/hr. max hourly rate
- 1-3 years of experience using SQL to analyze data, build business logic, define KPIs, and develop Power BI reporting solutions for business stakeholders.
- Must be able to independently translate complex business questions into SQL-driven insights, KPI frameworks, and executive-ready Power BI dashboards.
- Business Logic & Data Modeling: Write advanced SQL within Databricks to apply complex business rules, transform raw data, and build structured datasets optimized for reporting
- Visualization & Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to track KPIs and support data-driven decision-making.
- Insight Generation: Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, define and maintain KPI calculations and reporting standards, summarize key findings concisely, and present actionable insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional business teams to gather and document requirements, define business metrics, and translate business questions into analytical and reporting solutions.
- Issue Resolution & Engineering Liaison: Proactively monitor data quality, perform validation and reconciliation of reporting outputs, clearly document anomalies or discrepancies, and collaborate with the Data Engineering team to troubleshoot pipeline or data issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 1-3 years of experience using SQL to analyze data, build business logic, define KPIs, and develop Power BI reporting solutions for business stakeholders.
- Foundational experience with data analysis and programming (e.g., Python or similar).
- Hands-on experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools, particularly Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to validate results, communicate findings clearly, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical engineering teams.
- Direct experience working within Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Understanding of data warehouse concepts, data models, and ETL/ELT processes, with the ability to trace data lineage and communicate effectively with data engineers.
- Experience supporting marketing, CRM, ecommerce, customer analytics, or digital analytics initiatives is a plus. Familiarity with customer data platforms, audience segmentation, campaign measurement, and tools such as GA4, ActionIQ, Qualtrics, or similar platforms is preferred.
