Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our growing Data & Analytics team. This role will lead analytics initiatives, develop enterprise reporting solutions, and deliver actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Power BI, SQL, and modern data platforms with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful recommendations for business leaders.
This position plays a key role in advancing enterprise reporting, KPI governance, forecasting, and data strategy while partnering closely with leadership across the organization to improve operational performance and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that provide actionable business insights.
  • Define, standardize, and govern key performance indicators (KPIs) across business functions to ensure consistent reporting and decision-making.
  • Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks related to margin performance, cycle times, productivity, and overall business effectiveness.
  • Develop forecasting, segmentation, and predictive analytics models to support strategic planning and operational improvements.
  • Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to provide data-driven recommendations that influence business strategy.
  • Lead reporting and analytics projects from requirements gathering through implementation and adoption.
  • Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in reporting, analytics, data governance, and visualization.
  • Contribute to enterprise data architecture initiatives, including semantic models, Microsoft Fabric, and Lakehouse environments.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and accessibility.
  • Support ongoing analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, or data-focused roles.
  • Advanced expertise in Power BI, including dashboard development, DAX, data modeling, and report optimization.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience querying, transforming, and validating large datasets.
  • Experience delivering executive-level reporting and presenting analytical findings to business stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of business process analysis, performance measurement, and KPI development.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects independently from concept through delivery.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience within the property insurance, financial services, or construction industries.
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics, statistical modeling, or machine learning concepts.
  • Experience working with ETL processes, data integration, and modern cloud-based data platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse architectures, and semantic modeling.
  • Experience supporting enterprise data strategy, governance, and analytics modernization initiatives.
