Position Summary
An exciting opportunity is available for a detail-oriented and motivated Amazon Coordinator to support a growing e-commerce and licensed merchandise business within the music and entertainment industry!
This position will play a key role in managing day-to-day Amazon marketplace operations, supporting product launches, coordinating artist approvals, and assisting with digital merchandising and marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate is passionate about music, highly organized, and comfortable working across multiple teams to bring artist brands and merchandise to life on Amazon.
This is an initial three-month temporary assignment with the potential to transition into a full-time, permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Amazon Marketplace Operations
- Support daily operations of the Amazon marketplace, including product launches, listing setup, updates, and maintenance.
- Monitor inventory tracking and ensure product information remains accurate and up to date.
- Assist with digital merchandising efforts to maintain engaging, high-quality product listings.
- Provide administrative and sales support for the artist licensed merchandise and retail program.
Artist Submissions & Approvals
- Coordinate artist merchandise and marketing submissions through established approval processes.
- Organize submission materials, track feedback, and maintain accurate approval records.
- Follow up with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate timely approvals.
- Help ensure product launches and marketing initiatives remain on schedule.
Product Content & Digital Assets
- Coordinate the upload and maintenance of product imagery, descriptions, A+ content, and other digital assets.
- Ensure Amazon product listings accurately reflect each artist's brand and creative direction.
- Organize and maintain product information, artwork, and supporting content.
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure brand consistency across marketplace listings.
Marketing & Campaign Coordination
- Support Amazon marketing campaigns by collecting and organizing promotional materials and creative assets.
- Track campaign deadlines, deliverables, and outstanding requests.
- Coordinate the distribution of artist artwork and marketing materials to internal teams and external partners.
- Maintain organized, accessible, and secure digital asset libraries and file-sharing links.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with creative, production, sales, buying, and marketing teams to support successful product launches.
- Communicate marketplace needs, project updates, and timelines to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist with troubleshooting operational challenges and coordinating solutions.
- Help deliver a seamless customer experience across Amazon storefronts.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in e-commerce, Amazon marketplace operations, digital merchandising, retail, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Genuine interest in music, artists, merchandise, and entertainment culture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, or other e-commerce marketplace platforms.
- Familiarity with product listings, digital merchandising, and online retail operations.
- Experience coordinating creative assets, marketing campaigns, or product launches.
- Exposure to licensed merchandise, consumer products, or the music and entertainment industry.
