Job Details:
- Hybrid 2-3x a week onsite NY
- Pay Rate: $25 hourly W2
- Ability to commit approximately 20 hours per week, flexible within Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM EST ( part time hours)
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills to thrive in a remote, part-time role
What You'll Do:
- Support a team of five by handling administrative tasks, inbox triaging, and technical call coordination
- Assist with onboarding new imprints and managing data workflows
- Maintain accuracy with internal lists, datasets, and system updates
- Collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations
- Help organize and coordinate team activities, enabling our Account Managers to focus on high-impact projects
- Strong technical aptitude and comfort working with spreadsheets and admin tools
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication skills, especially in managing shared inboxes
- Ability to quickly learn new platforms and workflows
- Proven experience supporting operations or administrative functions, ideally within publishing or a related tech environment
- Experience in rights management, publishing, or similar workflows
- Knowledge of process documentation and workflow optimization
- Familiarity with AI, tech tools, or Coda is a plus
- Background in book publishing, tech roles, or related fields
- Mid-career professionals or up-and-comers eager to develop operational expertise
- Some experience working remotely is preferred but not required
