Job Overview:

- Our client is seeking a temporary Internal Communications manager to support the strategic internal communications needs of their Mid-Atlantic Division comprised of Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia companies. This person provides strategic communications counsel, makes recommendations on appropriate communications methods and creates content to ensure consistent and effective internal communication to support the overall health, stability and advancement of the company and its workforce. In addition to state-specific communications, the Internal Communications manager is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of important corporate messages to state employee groups.
- The Internal Communications manager will be located in Hershey, Pa., and report to the director of Internal Communications. This person will also be accountable to the region's director of External Affairs, each state president and the divisional senior vice president.

Job Responsibilities:

- Using several internal communications vehicles, the Internal Communications manager leads, directs, manages and supports all internal communications strategies, plans and tactics that drive their company's annual targets. This role will use multiple and integrated internal communications channels that include print, electronic, Web and digital signage.
- While not directly responsible for customer or external communications, the Internal Communications manager will work closely with External Affairs and Human Resource colleagues to ensure alignment of activities.

Job Qualifications:

- Seven to ten (7- 10) years formal communications experience, including at least three years in an internal communications role or comparable role. Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Photography skills also desired.
- Able to interview and extrapolate key messages. Knows the key questions to ask and is able to develop strategic and effective communications materials. Actively listens and gleans salient points and is able to translate into communications that are "understood by the masses".
- Interacts with employees at all levels of the organization and is seen as a trusted and respected resource regarding company information. Able to motivate and engage key audiences. .
- Is deadline driven and vigilant on adhering to budget requirements.
- Demonstrated proactive thinking and team work attitude and ability.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with all levels within the employee base.
- Travels among the states in area of responsibility to ensure a thorough understanding of state-specific needs
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations or related field required.
- Valid Driver's License
- The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive depth of communications knowledge and experience with demonstrated expertise in implementing integrated, strategic communications programs.

Job Responsibilities:

- Work closely with Art, Cinematic and Programming Teams to create industry leading visuals across a variety of environments, characters and cinematic sequences.
- Craft compelling lighting which supports story, art direction and experience objectives.
- Translate conceptual illustrations into outstanding real-time lighting visuals.
- Work with Art and Programming teams to anticipate and solve technical challenges within given constraints and visual requirements.
- Be proactive about seeking feedback and communication with the Art Director, Environment Art Lead, Cinematic Director and other relevant departments.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of current industry technology, constraints and trends.

Job Qualifications:

- A Bachelor's degree or diploma with an emphasis on Art.
- Three (3) plus years of Game, Film experience.
- Outstanding knowledge of both real-time and pre-rendered lighting principals (dynamic lighting, light bake solutions, sub surface scattering, HDR)
- Thorough understanding of how light, shadow and color create tone and mood.
- Exceptional grasp for compositional storytelling and cinematography.
- Understanding of VFX, cinematic or feature film animation production pipelines and workflows.
- Background in real world photography, cinematography and lighting a plus.
- Relevant 2D and 3D software experience - Maya, Photoshop, Proprietary Lighting Tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively - must be open to direction and able to embrace change.
