Job Responsibilities:

- Identify, design, and develop test protocols and/or test fixtures and process improvements for electrical systems and sub-systems.
- Develop test requirements and processes, design fixtures, execute test plans, and analyze data.
- Prepare summary and test reports to review with team members.
- Participate as an Extended Core Team member on reviews and meetings.
- Communicate cross-functionally with team members and across organization.
- Product improvement through DFx, DFM, or related.
- Conduct problem solving and root cause failure analysis through 8D or 6Sigma processes.
- Troubleshoot to component level product defects in PCAs and electrical systems.
- Able to automate process as needed through software or electrical changes.
- Perform validation and verification as required.
- Functional lead for electronic test operation within mfg.
- Able to develop work instructions, train, and support mfg. operators on released processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with Contract Manufacturers with outsourcing functions to assure successful product transfer.
- Provide DFx and test recommendations to CMs on electrical components (PCAs, systems, and sub-systems).
- Perform change management through ECO's to correct BOMs, WI's, etc.
- Participate in MRB reviews and provide evaluation and disposition of electro-mechanical components and sub-assemblies.
- Other: support internal and external customers to resolve instrument related issues.

Job Qualifications:

- B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of five (5) years test engineering experience.
- Experience in manufacturing environment seven to ten (7 - 10+) years, ISO13485.
- Familiar with PCB tests preferred (ICT, JTAG, Flying Probe Test, and 5DX).
- Familiar with MATLAB is preferred.
- Familiar with Electrical SW systems preferred: OrCAD, Altium, PSpice, Verilog, or related.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Candidate must be organized, a self-starter, and a highly motivated individual capable of multi-tasking.

- Participate in the development and specification of new product HW/SW platform architectures.

Job Qualifications:

- BSEE and coursework in analog and digital design required.
- Seven (7+) years in electronic design and development.
- At least five (5) years of hands-on, board-level, hardware design.
- At least some experience developing low-level debug software.
- Be an expert in the use of HW tools: Oscilloscopes, DVMs, signal generators / analyzers, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and LabView for development / debug.
- Good debug skills for both HW / SW.
- Experience with Safety Integrity Level (SIL) design is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

- Validation Engineer will work closely with pre-silicon / post-silicon design teams working on System-on-a-Chip (SoC) development projects based on processor architectures.
- Validation Engineer will be responsible for emulation activities such as synthesis, emulation model building, co-emulation, co-simulation development and target h/w development.
- Lead efforts in logic design using VHDL / Verilog / SystemVerilog / SystemC, pre-silicon validation / debug at unit, full-chip and system levels, fullchip integration, and Silicon debug.
- Work with architecture, platform, product and validation engineering teams across the globe and implementing pre-silicon emulation/FPGA models, performing the functional and gate level verification of the ASICs.

Job Qualifications:

- Minimum of BS/MSEE with five (5) plus years of design and validation experience is required along with five (5) plus years experience in library support.
- Must have Multi-FPGA experience with Xilinx Virtex V and/or VI series.
- Experience with FPGA partitioning tools such as Certify and/or Auspy.
- Experience in working with multimillion gate chip designs from specification.
