General Summary:

The Associate Producer is responsible for post production of all spots and materials for the Lifestyle and Entertainment On-Air Promotions Department.

Job Responsibilities:

- Oversee post production process for all promotional elements. Gather and provide materials and information to editors and audio engineers, supervise Avid and audio sessions, deliver final promos for air.
- Strict management of inflow and outflow of promos by staying up-to-date with planning schedules and hit lists, in accordance with air deadlines.
- Responsible for quality control of form and content, graphics, language accuracy, and slate information before spots are delivered to Media Planning Department.
- Work closely with Media Planning Department to assure all spots versions required are created and delivered on time. Point person for in-program navigation Media Planning requests.
- Support team in all technical aspects of promo production, post production and digital communication with providers, vendors and other departments.
- Point person to execute day-to-day requests from other departments, such as: Ad Sales, Affiliate Sales and Digital Media.
- Maintain and update all video back-ups - tape or digital - so promotional materials are contained in an organized fashion and easily accessible.
- Assist manager and senior producers in administrative responsibilities, such as: requests for shows, dubs, and contracts.
- Research and log footage as required.

Job Qualifications:

- At least two (2) years of hands-on experience in video production, editing and the Latin American television market is essential.
- Proficiency in Avid, Final Cut Pro Studio, Adobe After Effects / Photoshop / Illustrator.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
- Field production experience a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
