Job Responsibilities:

- Carry out or participate in problem analysis and system design prior to application development.
- Collaborate with the Business Analyst / Developer to understand the functional requirements and based on the Baan application, propose solutions / workarounds to solve the problem.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tools and techniques for technical design and development in the Baan systems (Baan Tools). Application Interface development using API's / BOD's / AFS / BOI's.
- Stays abreast with the patches / bug fixes released by Infor / Baan and assess the impact of the patches / bug fixes on the company environment. Retrofit, where applicable.
- Responsible for adhering to internal standards and using Infor's Version control and configuration management techniques developed jointly with the IT Director, using PMC.
- Work closely with the IT Director in deploying solutions, customizations to test / production environments.
- Travel up to 75%

Job Qualifications:

- BS Degree Computer Science or equivalent education is required.
- Seven (7) plus years of experience in the system analysis and applications development field.
- Participated in at least three (3) full scale Baan V/LN implementations.
- Strong Knowledge of Manufacturing, Warehousing, Distribution and Finance functionality in Baan LN.
- Understand and have development skills on other platforms such as Openworld, ION, Dashboards, PLM, PM10, SupplyWeb, Kaba Benzing Autotime, etc.
- Thorough Knowledge of Baan ERP LN software.
- Expert knowledge of Baan's 4GL programming language and Tools.
- Solid knowledge of 'Microsoft SQL' database and DBA duties.
- Experience on designing / implementing dashboards (Business Objects) using Data Warehouses is a plus.
- Working knowledge of 'Visual Basic' programming.
- Knowledge of Crystal Reports or Cognos is a plus.
- General knowledge of automated systems in manufacturing environments (Barcode & RFID).
- Possess knowledge of Relational Database Concepts, System Development Lifecycle(SDLC), SQL Server Administration, writing Core SQL.
- Develop end user reports (Knowledge of Crystal reports, SSRS Tools, etc)
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Act as 'Help Desk', and provide user support.
- Tutoring and training skills.
