Job Overview:

This position is responsible for the National Contract medical leadership, clinical oversight and patient care for the two Primary Care health centers in Chandler, as well as remote medical leadership and clinical oversight at primary and occupational health centers in Oregon, Washington State, New Mexico and Massachusetts for one client.

Job Responsibilities:

- National Contract Medical Leadership
- Evaluates the effectiveness of medical care at each Occupational and Primary Care Center.
- Reports directly to the Regional Medical Director for medical oversight responsibilities. collaborates with the Senior DSO and Strategic Account executive on strategic initiatives and client relations.
- Leads and motivates site medical leaders at the other Primary Care and Occupational Health Centers.
- Assists with decisions regarding the hiring of physicians and providers to ensure quality and fit of candidates.
- May be a subject matter expert in a particular medical field or expertise; Occupational Health, Primary Care, Pharmacy/PC integration, Integrative Medicine, etc. and provides consultative advice and insight on unique medical cases, patient situations and/or client issues.
- Arizona Site Medical Leadership:
- While working at this large employer site, you will have the ability to get to know your patients, while helping to improve their health status and taking care of their immediate health needs.
- Assumes overall responsibility for patients receiving care in the health center of 14+ FTEs.
- Works in tandem with Health Center Manager /Supervisor to ensure a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Provides episodic, preventive, occupational and/or primary health care to patients depending on the needs of the client.
- Conducts histories, physical exams and prescribes medical treatment.
- Reports directly to the Regional Medical Director for medical responsibilities and reports indirectly to the Health Center Manager / Supervisor for administrative and operational workings of the site.
- May oversee and provides evidence based process improvement recommendations.

Job Qualifications (Required):

- Minimum Educational requirement: MD or DO degree, Board Certified in Family Practice, Internal Medicine and/or Occupational Health by the AOA or ABMS.
- Three to five (3 - 5) years of experience (minimum) in Family practice, emergency room, ambulatory care, or Occupational health settings.
- Primary Care or Emergency Medicine or Board Eligible in aforementioned practice areas. If Board Eligible, must take certification exam within twelve months of date of hire.
- Must have current state and federal DEA certification.
- Current certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations.
- Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification, in some cases may be required.

Job Overview:

The Medical Assistant is responsible for patient care support duties and clinic environment at the PepsiCo Employee Health & Wellness Center located in White Plains, NY. This position will function under the supervision of the Nurse Practitioner in the clinic and will perform various clinical and administrative tasks as directed.

Job Responsibilities:

- Assist health care team with specific treatments and/or procedures.
- Monitor and maintain the clinic environment in an orderly and adequately stocked manner.
- Provide prompt, courteous and professional attention to the needs and requests of all patients and clients.
- Under the supervision and direction of the Nurse Practitioner:
- Assist patients to exam room and prepare patient for examination. Obtain and record pre-examination testing to include height, weight, BMI and vital signs.
- Perform delegated clinical tasks including vital signs, urine collection, blood collection, injections, electrocardiograms and routine dressing changes.
- Assist health care team with specific treatments and procedures
- Administer and document specified injections as directed by NP and JHU policy.
- Document all clinical care provided in JHU EMR in a thorough and timely manner.
- Provide appropriate follow-up communication with health care team and patients.
- Support health care team as directed. This includes clinical assistance, medical record retrieval and communication with relevant parties, instrument sterilization, examination room preparation, filing, stocking, equipment care/maintenance and front desk coverage.
- Assist PepsiCo employees with special medical needs throughout workday as directed
- Order, stock and maintain exam rooms and clinic area with standard levels of supplies and equipment
- Perform minor housekeeping tasks to keep clinic areas in a clean and sanitary condition
- Check clinic area and exam rooms for malfunctioning equipment, broken furniture and general maintenance problems on a regular basis. Report findings to appropriate person and/or arrange for repairs as required.
- Process Executive Health physical bills for payment
- Participate in skill development and training through in service programs to enhance knowledge level and to ensure mastery of patient care procedures.
- Maintain a positive attitude and convey enthusiasm.
- Participate in team work approach to responsibilities and activities within the clinic.
- Provide support to Somers, NY Employee Health & Wellness Center as needed.

Job Qualifications:

- High School education or GED required
- Completion of certified/accredited Medical Assistant training program
- Certification through AAMS required
- CPR certification required
- Highly effective verbal and interpersonal skills

Preferred Job Skills / Experience / Knowledge:

- Experience in Occupational Medicine clinic environment is preferred
